Minimum Requirements: BEng / BSc / BTech in Mechanical Engineering 3 to 6 years experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer Strong experience in full product design lifecycle Experience with: o Autodesk Inventoro ANSYSo FEA (Finite Element Analysis)o MATLABExperience producing manufacturing and production-ready drawings Ability to work closely with R&D, manufacturing, and production teams Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes Defence, aerospace, military, heavy engineering, or advanced manufacturing industry experience will be highly advantageous Key Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanical products and components from concept through to production Generate 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings Perform simulations, stress analysis, and FEA calculations Support prototype development and testing Liaise with production and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility Conduct engineering calculations and design validations Assist with continuous product improvement and optimisation Ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards Ideal Candidate: Hands-on and technically strong Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving ability Able to work under pressure and within project deadlines Passionate about innovation, engineering, and product development
