Job Description The Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for establishing, managing, and leading end-to-end Quality Assurance (QA) practices across a large-scale SAP landscape. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the successful upgrade from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, including additional system enhancements. The successful candidate will provide QA delivery leadership, governance, and assurance across all project phases, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities Lead the set-up, preparation, and execution of Quality Assurance activities across SAP projects. Define and implement QA frameworks, standards, and methodologies aligned to SAP best practices. Conduct and facilitate quality gate reviews at key project milestones. Provide QA delivery leadership, ensuring quality objectives are met throughout the project lifecycle. Review project deliverables to ensure compliance with agreed quality, scope, and performance standards. Identify risks, defects, and quality gaps, and drive corrective actions. Collaborate closely with technical, functional, and business stakeholders. Support governance and reporting structures to provide visibility into quality status and outcomes. Requirements Minimum Requirements 8+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance roles, with senior-level responsibility. Bachelor’s degree or relevant SAP-related qualification. Proven experience establishing and managing QA frameworks and quality gates. Strong experience providing QA leadership on complex SAP delivery projects. Solid understanding of SAP project life cycles and delivery methodologies. Preferred Requirements Experience with SAP ECC to S/4HANA upgrades. Public Sector experience. Candidates based in Cape Town. Experience working on large-scale, enterprise SAP programmes.
