About the Role As a Cyber Trainer within the client’s Cyber Security Training division, you will deliver hands‑on cybersecurity training entirely online to learners at all levels – from individuals entering the industry to experienced professionals seeking certification. You will guide learners through practical labs, real‑world scenarios, and structured curriculum content, helping them build the skills needed to succeed in modern cyber roles. You will support learners individually in a virtual environment and ensure that all training materials remain aligned with current cyber threats, technologies, and industry standards. Roles & Responsibilities Deliver engaging cybersecurity training sessions to apprentices, early‑career learners, and experienced professionals. Teach core cyber topics including network security, threat analysis, incident response, vulnerability management, and secure configuration. Support learners through hands‑on labs, exercises, assessments, and real‑world simulations. Prepare learners for industry certifications and related qualifications. Provide coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback to help learners progress confidently. Maintain accurate learner records, progress tracking, and assessment documentation. Collaborate with curriculum and training teams to update and enhance course materials. Contribute to the continuous improvement of training delivery, content quality, and learner experience. Ensure training reflects current cyber trends, emerging threats, and best practices. Skills, Qualifications & Abilities Experience with strong, up‑to‑date expertise across areas such as Cloud Security, Application Security, Secure Coding, AI Security & Governance, DFIR, Offensive Security, Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing, Information Security Management, Privacy, and Security Risk. Subject Matter expert (SME) keen to transition into a specialist trainer role or a Professional Trainer. Broad understanding of security frameworks and pathways (e.g., NIST) and the ability to maintain subject expertise through continuous professional development. Proven hands‑on information security experience with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical learning. Experience designing, developing, or delivering technical training or learning events (ideal but not essential). Confident in client‑facing interactions and able to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams (Delivery, Operations, Curriculum). Proficient in English.
