Core Responsibilities: Machinery Optimisation: Oversee the daily operation and mechanical health of all milling machinery, guaranteeing peak performance and output. Workflow Management: Direct and refine the end-to-end milling workflow, driving maximum yield and operational efficiency across the plant. Quality Assurance: Uphold rigorous quality control measures, guaranteeing that all final products continuously align with strict industry and company benchmarks. Preventative Maintenance: Execute routine servicing and basic mechanical troubleshooting to prevent production bottlenecks and sustain machinery longevity. Crew Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the production staff through active coaching, skills development, and the cultivation of a collaborative, safety-first working environment. Requirements & Qualifications: Academic Background: Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification. Industry Certification: Must possess a formally recognised SAGMA or GMF accreditation. Professional Experience: At least three years of dedicated wheat milling experience, supported by a comprehensive background in full-spectrum grain handling. Logistics & Flexibility: Must hold a valid South African driver's licence with independent transport, and demonstrate the flexibility to operate on a rotational shift pattern.
