Position Purpose As an ambassador of LINDT, you will ensure all customers receive a world-class premium experience, deliver exceptional customer service, and achieve sales goals. Key Responsibilities Customer Service and Sales Deliver exceptional customer service at all times, across all sections of the Chocolate Shop and over the phone. Greet all customers with a welcoming atmosphere. Educate and inform customers on LINDT chocolate products, handling them with passion and in-depth knowledge. Actively sample and provide product knowledge, discussing taste profiles and ingredients. Upsell to increase customer transaction spend, inform all customers of current in-store promotions, events and directed information. Assist customers in selecting quality LINDT products, encouraging additional sales. Serve multiple customers, communicate, and multitask store operational tasks. Process customer orders through the POS, credit card transactions, own and manage individual tills. Handle big customer orders, address complaints immediately to the manager on duty, and develop rapport with regular customers. Product Knowledge Comprehensive understanding of product specifications, ingredients, storage, allergens, pricing, and packaging. Comply with product management and handling procedures. General Work Ethic and Store Operations Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and compatible atmosphere; lead by example. Record sampling and waste; quality control products. Perform opening and closing procedures, sign off checklists. Keep cleaning duties, temperature readings, tidy working areas, fixtures, glass cabinets, and floors. Manage courier deliveries, confirm items against invoice, assist in monthly stock counts. Unpack, move, and restock products; use in-store equipment, machines, appliances. Health & Safety Comply with all work health and safety requirements; report damaged or dangerous equipment to management. Manual handling: lifting and moving stock weighing up to 12 kg per unit. Sales & Inventory Management Monitor sales daily, maximize store profitability. Place timely orders for merchandise and supplies; manage inventory and loss prevention. Administration Complete daily paperwork and accounting. Communicate confidently and interactively. Personal & Professional Skills Excellent communication, work ethic, grooming, and time-management skills. Self‑starter; able to work individually and as part of a team. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Customer service and sales skills. Ability to handle credit card transactions. Previous experience in customer service and in a similar retail environment.
