Core Purpose of the Role: The Branding and Design Specialist will be responsible for strengthening the marketing function by owning day-to-day marketing execution and brand delivery, enabling the Marketing Manager to focus on customer, product, and strategic requirements as the business scales. This role reduces design lead times, improves cross-departmental collaboration, and ensures consistent branding across all internal and external initiatives, including internal events. Position of the job in the organisation: The Branding and Design Specialist will report directly to the Marketing Manager. Principal responsibilities: The Branding and Design Specialist will play a key role in strengthening both internal and external brand presence. This role will support the planning and delivery of brand-led initiatives, marketing events, and internal initiatives, while managing external design suppliers and producing some in-house design work. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, organised, creatively minded, and comfortable working across multiple marketing disciplines. Key Responsibilities: Ownership & Execution of Company Branding Develop and execute company‑branded collateral across digital and print E.g. Posters, PowerPoint Presentations, Word documents, Brochures, Branded Giveaways, Digital Assets including Slack comms, signatures, GIFs, Google Ads Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all marketing materials & promotional items Produce and update brochures, presentations, signage, merchandise, and promotional materials Act as brand custodian in the execution phase, ensuring quality control before release Consistent, high‑quality branded materials across the organisation. Events Support & Coordination Coordinate marketing logistics for events (collateral, branding, supplier coordination, timelines) Manage branded materials required for events (banners, presentations, digital assets, giveaways) Support on‑site execution where required Assist with post‑event follow‑up communications and reporting Graphic Design Coordination & Execution Brief, coordinate, and manage graphic design work (with external designers) Ensure all artwork aligns with brand standards and campaign objectives Maintain version control and proper storage of all creative assets Produce basic to intermediate design work such as social media graphics, internal communications assets, Power Point Presentations and templates, event collateral Campaign Execution Support Support rollout of marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels Assist in coordinating timelines, assets, and stakeholder inputs Prepare campaign collateral (email, social, landing page content coordination, HubSpot) Track and report on campaign execution milestones Maintenance & Upkeep of Company Templates & Brand Documents Maintain and update branded templates (presentations, letterheads, email signatures, reports, proposals) Ensure all departments use the latest approved templates Archive outdated materials and manage document version control Support internal teams with access to approved branded resources Experience & Skills Experience in a marketing or brand‑focused role Strong understanding of branding principles and marketing fundamentals Experience supporting events and working with multiple stakeholders Experience managing external suppliers or agencies Basic to intermediate design skills using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, In‑design or similar Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Knowledge of digital marketing channels (social media, email, websites) Specific attributes Highly organised and proactive Creative with a strong visual eye Confident communicator with good stakeholder management skills Able to work independently and collaboratively Adaptable and comfortable juggling multiple priorities Desirable attributes Team Player Must be adaptable and resilient What Does Success Look Like? By 3 Months I will be fully embedded in brand guidelines, templates, and workflows. I will independently deliver day‑to‑day marketing and design outputs with minimal rework. I will noticeably reduce design and execution bottlenecks for the Marketing Manager. By 6 Months I will confidently manage cross‑departmental marketing requests end‑to‑end. I will deliver consistent, on‑brand support for internal initiatives and events. I will be seen as a reliable execution partner across the business. By 12 Months I will operate as a trusted brand custodian across teams. I will enable the Marketing Manager to focus on strategy, customers, and product priorities.
