Cape Town (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Contract Position Bluegrass Digital is looking for a strong Mobile Developer to join our delivery team on a contract basis. We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, builds scalable mobile applications, and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to create high-quality digital products. You’ll work on exciting projects across industries, partnering with designers, developers, QA, and product teams to deliver exceptional mobile experiences. What You’ll Be Doing Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications Collaborate with product owners, designers, and backend developers Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable code Participate in architecture and technical design discussions Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance Ensure code quality through testing and peer reviews Contribute to CI/CD and release processes Stay up to date with mobile development trends and best practices Tech Stack / Experience Required React Native Flutter Kotlin / Android Development Swift / iOS Development Additional experience with: REST APIs and third-party integrations Firebase and push notifications Git version control Agile/Scrum environments App Store / Google Play deployments CI/CD pipelines What We’re Looking For 5+ years of mobile development experience Strong understanding of mobile architecture and performance optimization Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team Strong communication skills A proactive problem-solver with attention to detail Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite) Bonus Points Experience working in digital agencies or consulting environments Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS Experience building enterprise or customer-facing apps UI/UX sensitivity and strong product thinking Why Join Bluegrass?
