Overview General Assistant (External Applications Only) – Full-time position at Cashbuild. Responsibilities Advise and assist Customers on correct products and queries; assist with and resolve Customer complaints. Bulk stock area to be merchandised safely and according to Store layout plan; ensure area is fully merchandised according to store layout and planograms. Ensure area is free of obstacles; stock is merchandised immediately after receipt; customers can enter and leave your aisle safely. Ensure correct shelf price labelling within area of responsibility; complete required checklists when on duty with canteen and toilet/shower schedules. Safety (OHSA) compliance within area of responsibility; report discrepancies; manage stock loss; report damaged stock to Store Manager. Qualifications Minimum Grade 10 or NQF 3 with 1 year of related work experience; or Grade 12 with no related work experience. Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language of the geographical area. Valid South African ID or work permit. Ability to perform basic calculations accurately. Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Ability to work under pressure. #J-18808-Ljbffr
