Talent Systems Specialist – Shipboard IGT Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy professional to join the Learn & Grow team as a Talent Systems Specialist – Shipboard. This role supports the smooth operation, accuracy, and continuous improvement of talent and learning platforms used by shipboard and shoreside teams. Summary / Objective The Talent Systems Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing systems that enable Crew members to learn, perform, and grow. The position focuses on system administration, data integrity, reporting, and user support, ensuring talent processes remain efficient, reliable, and user-friendly. Through strong system management and insightful data analysis, this role helps deliver the tools and insights that support performance and development outcomes for the client’s shipboard operations. Systems Administration & Optimization Support the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of talent and learning systems, including Elevate, Airtable, and LinkedIn Learning. Manage day-to-day system activities such as workflows, data accuracy, automations, and user access, ensuring a seamless experience for shipboard and shoreside users. Test new system features, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with IT, HRIS, and external vendors to ensure system stability and performance. Maintain accurate learning, performance, and compliance data, ensuring alignment with course assignments and tracking requirements. Partner in the development and enhancement of digital tools that support feedback, performance management, and career development processes. Data, Reporting & Insights Generate regular reports and dashboards to track engagement, compliance, and performance outcomes. Analyze system and learning data to identify trends and provide actionable insights that support performance and talent development initiatives. Maintain documentation, system logs, and audit records to support data integrity, governance, and compliance standards. Collaborate closely with Learn & Grow, HRIS, and IT teams to support ongoing talent and learning programs. Assist with system-related communications, user guides, training materials, and platform demonstrations. Provide technical and operational support during performance cycles, feedback programs, and development initiatives. Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts and recommend system and user experience enhancements within established governance frameworks. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Learning Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in LMS or talent system administration, preferably within a corporate, hospitality, maritime, or complex operational environment; business analyst experience is also acceptable. Familiarity with HR technology ecosystems and integrations, including Workday Core HCM, Workday Learning, Workday Talent, Performance Management, and/or MarineXchange (MXP). Strong consultative approach with the ability to propose multiple solutions, lead system demonstrations, and collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders. Self-motivated professional with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and problem-solving capability. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and support users at all technical levels and translate complex concepts into clear, practical guidance. Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with reporting, dashboards, or data visualization tools is advantageous. Required job duties are typically performed in a climate-controlled office environment. Regular exposure to computer screens. Noise levels are generally moderate.
