About the role The IT Support & Infrastructure Intern will assist the IT Department with day-to-day technical support, device preparation, classroom technology support, printer support, and basic infrastructure-related tasks while gaining practical workplace experience within a modern school environment.Responsibilities: Provide first-line IT support to staff and students. Troubleshoot laptops, Chromebooks, printers, and classroom technology. Assist with basic Chromebook and laptop hardware repairs. Support Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace users. Assist with printer support and print room operations. Help with device setup, software installations, and workstation preparation. Support classroom AV, projectors, and interactive displays. Assist with IT asset management, cable management, and general maintenance. Minimum Requirements South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34. Must not have participated on the YES Programme before. Matric. completed an IT-related qualification will be advantageous. Basic understanding of computers, hardware, and software. Basic troubleshooting knowledge. Willingness to learn and work in a team environment. Preferred Skills Good communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving ability. Basic computer literacy.
