Job Title: Food & Beverage Manager Location: Nylstroom, Limpopo Position Type: Live-in Reporting To: Resident Manager (RM) and Assistant Resident Manager (Asst RM) Position Purpose To effectively manage the day-to-day food and beverage operations of a Lodge in the Nylstroom area, ensuring they are consistent with company standards while achieving optimum financial results and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Operational Management: Manage all F&B outlets (including restaurant and boma dining) within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards. Guest Experience: Identify customer needs proactively; greet guests and host in public areas as needed. Financial & Admin: Assist with financial management, monitor reporting structures, and handle F&B rosters. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor the F&B team to foster a "culture of learning" and unique brand identity. Stock & Quality Control: Oversee orders, stock takes, and waste management systems. Compliance: Ensure full adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Relief Management: Stand in for the Assistant Resident Manager during off days or holidays. Requirements & Skills Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the hospitality industry with a solid track record in similar management roles. Education: Matric is the minimum requirement; a hospitality or culinary qualification is highly beneficial. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel) and knowledge of PMS systems like Opera or Symphony. Licensing: Must possess a valid RSA ID and a valid Driver’s License. Competencies: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a "guest-oriented" mindset.
