Job Responsibilities Plan, organise and execute a wide range of events for the organisation, ensuring exceptional experiences for attendees. Oversee all aspects of events management from conceptualisation and budgeting to vendor and post‑event analysis. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and objectives, staying abreast of industry trends to enhance service offerings. Contribute to planning and operationalisation of event strategies aligned with organisational objectives to drive engagement. Lead cross‑functional teams and manage event budgets, cost‑effective allocation of resources and ROI maximisation. Source and negotiate contracts with venues, suppliers, and service providers to secure optimal pricing and quality. Obtain necessary sign‑offs and partner with procurement to finalise arrangements. Oversee event logistics including venue selection, catering, audiovisual, transportation and accommodation. Coordinate with Marketing to develop promotional materials and pre‑event marketing campaigns. Implement technology solutions such as event management and virtual platforms to enhance attendee experience. Develop and implement risk management plans to mitigate potential issues and ensure safety and security of attendees. Evaluate event success through post‑event analysis, including feedback and financial performance. Continuously assess and improve processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders: clients, sponsors, vendors, industry partners. Provide leadership and mentorship to the events team, fostering a collaborative high‑performance environment. Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices to drive innovation. Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build partnerships. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and ethical standards in all aspects of event management. Communicate clearly and professionally with diverse audiences, internally and externally. Adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills, inspiring and motivating team members to deliver results.
