The role involves building strategic partnerships, conducting IP due diligence, managing the IP portfolio, and leading licensing, deal‑making, and spin‑out company formation. The manager ensures academic research translates into real‑world applications that benefit both industry and academia. Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience Postgraduate Research Degree (NQF 9) or MBA 5‑8 years working experience, with at least 3‑5 years relevant experience on technology transfer or related field.
