It operates in a true bush environment where close encounters, walking safaris, and immersive nature experiences are central to the guest journey.Core Criteria:FGASA qualification (NQF2 or NQF4) Valid Trails Guide qualification with current backup trails (lead trails advantageous) Valid PDP and drivers licence Valid First Aid with wilderness component Relevant firearm competency and registration Experience guiding in a Big 5 environment Strong communication skills and professional guest interaction Physically fit and comfortable working in a remote bush environment Candidate Responsibilities:Conduct guided bush walks and walking safaris in accordance with safety protocols and reserve standards Assist with game drives when required Deliver informative, engaging, and safety-focused guest experiences Interpret wildlife, ecology, and tracking for guests Ensure guest safety at all times while on foot Assist with reserve management tasks, bush clearing, and field maintenance Support lodge operations and guest hosting where needed This is a live-in position.
