MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Applicants should possess one or more of the following recognised IT qualifications:- National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Strong MS SQL Server skills (Query writing and DB maintenance)- Strong accounting or actuarial background (advantageous)- Advanced Excel skills (linking sheets to databases, pivots, formulas etc)- Programming skills and qualifications (VBA, C#, ASP.NET, Python etc) (advantageous)- CompTIA A+ Certification (advantageous).- CompTIA Network+ Certification (advantageous).- Relevant IT support or systems administration certifications. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS - Minimum of 5-8 years experience in an IT support or IT administration role. - Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365. - Knowledge of networking principles, routers, switches, and wireless systems. - Experience with hardware troubleshooting and software installations. - Exposure to cybersecurity practices and data protection principles. - Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, warehouse, FMCG, or abattoir environment will be advantageous. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.TECHNICAL SKILLS - Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments. - Basic networking and server administration knowledge. - Understanding of cybersecurity best practices. - Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. - Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems. - Knowledge of printers, CCTV systems, VoIP systems, biometric systems, and access control systems will be beneficial.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & KEY ABILITIES The successful candidate should demonstrate the following:- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to manage and control other IT personnel. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. - Good communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to work independently and within a team. - Excellent time management and organisational skills. - Attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to prioritise urgent operational issues. - Professional conduct and customer-service orientation. - High level of integrity and confidentiality.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS - Valid drivers licence.- Willingness to work after hours, weekends, or standby when operationally required.
