We are a one-stop switchboard manufacturer covering design, engineering, sheet metal, copper manufacturing, wiring and testing — supplying industrial, commercial, infrastructure and energy sectors across South Africa. The Opportunity This is a role with full lifecycle ownership — tender, quote, design coordination, production oversight, and client delivery. You will be expected to manage multiple concurrent projects, grow client relationships, and drive EDS into new markets. What You'll Do Project Management: Manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation to close-out; schedule, resource, and risk management. Tendering: Source and win tenders, build consulting engineer relationships. Quotation & Costing: Produce accurate, competitive quotations for switchboards, MCCs and control panels; manage all variation orders. Technical Design: Coordinate AutoCAD-based schematic and panel layout drawings; review and approve to SANS 10142 / IEC 61439-1/2 standards. Quality & ISO: Ensure full project compliance with SANS 10142, IEC 61439-1/2 and EDS ISO 9001:2015 QMS; participate in FATs. Client Management: Primary client contact throughout lifecycle — proactive, professional, and accountable from enquiry to sign-off. What You Need National Diploma or Degree — Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) 5+ years' project management in electrical switchboard or panel manufacturing Solid AutoCAD experience for schematic and panel layout design In-depth knowledge of SANS 10142 and IEC 61439-1/2 Experience managing multiple concurrent projects to time and budget Strong commercial acumen — price competitively, protect margin Valid driver''s licence and own transport Advantageous Familiarity with Siemens Sivacon S8 EPLAN or similar electrical CAD software #J-18808-Ljbffr
