Employer Description My client is in the Food Manufacturing Industry Job Description Our client has an opportunity for a Trade-Tested Millwright to join their team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following: Overseeing preventive maintenance by identifying and correcting potential issues, removing worn out pieces and lubricating mechanical parts. Managing the layout and placement of equipment and machinery in factory settings to ensure minimum downtime Assembling/Disassemble and installing machines then testing them to make sure they are working correctly Build the foundation for Machines Identifying and repairing problematic parts of a machine by running tests, making temporary repairs, or installing new parts Using machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, to move mechanical parts Other related duties Qualifications Matriculation N3 N6 in Engineering Studies Millwright Trade Test Skills 5-8 years experience as a Millwright in a Food Manufacturing Environment Working knowledge of mechanical technical skills to allow them to effectively read documents such as specifications, machine manuals, and blueprints
