A leading international energy company is seeking a Senior Project Developer to join its Business Development team, supporting growth across the Sub-Saharan African region. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Regional Head of Business Development, you will: Develop a strong understanding of legislation related to conventional energy investments (with a focus on gas-fired generation) and monitor regulatory developments Analyse the competitive landscape to support strategic decision-making Assess financing solutions for energy projects and their impact on business models Support partner identification and acquisition strategies aligned with business needs Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including: Greenfield developments Acquisitions Competitive tenders (public and private) Bilateral commercial agreements with large off-takers Assist in preparing documentation and presentations for investment approvals (internal and external) Support project development activities, including permitting and stakeholder engagement Collaborate with internal teams and external partners throughout the project lifecycle Handover projects for construction while maintaining ongoing support where required Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and regulatory bodies Requirements 5–8 years’ experience in business development, investment analysis, or similar commercial roles Degree in Engineering, Economics, Law, or a related field International experience is advantageous #J-18808-Ljbffr
