With a growing presence, Life and Brand Portfolio continues to set the standard for the dynamic local culinary scene. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer. The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative and practical design solutions for the group’s restaurant spaces. This includes space planning, developing design concepts, producing detailed construction drawings, and selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) to create cohesive and engaging dining environments. Collaboration with architects, construction teams, and other stakeholders will be key in delivering high-quality results that uphold the company's design standards and vision. Responsibilities of the Position Produce detailed drawings, 3D renders, mood boards, material boards, and specifications. Collaborate with architects, project managers and suppliers. Conduct site visits to gather requirements and ensure design execution aligns with vision and standards. Select materials, furniture, fixtures, and finishes that meet project budgets and design goals. Assist with space planning, workplace strategy, and FF&E coordination. Ensure all designs comply with building codes, health and safety regulations, and company standards. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within deadlines.Oversee the furniture installation and final finishes. Point out and relay snags and program concerns. Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Knowledge Required Minimum of 5 years experience in interior design. Proficiency in AutoCAD & Sketchup. Bachelor's degree or relevant tertiary qualification. Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and meet project deadlines. Flexible and capable of working independently or as part of a collaborative team. Must have a vehicle for site visits. Willingness to travel locally and nationally for projects.
