Working with an industry-leading manufacturing enterprise via Devaire, you will own the technical design, lifecycle, and integration strategy of their Business Central ecosystem. The systems you build and refine will directly influence shop‑floor efficiency, real‑time supply chain telemetry, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). In an industrial environment where production downtime is measured in lost revenue per minute, your focus on performance, reliability, and modern engineering practices will ensure a robust, high‑scale, and upgrade‑safe ERP ecosystem. Why this role is exciting Bridge IT and OT (Operational Technology): Design and deploy mission‑critical integrations connecting Business Central to shop‑floor hardware and MES platforms using REST/OData APIs, SOAP web services, and Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions). Pure AL Architecture: Own the technical design of advanced custom applications and extensions. You will write clean, AppSource‑style code using the AL language and Visual Studio Code, ensuring the core platform remains decoupled and entirely upgrade‑safe against future Microsoft release cycles. Modernize the DevOps Pipeline: Elevate standard ERP practices by driving the adoption of robust technical standards, including Git‑driven source control, structured code reviews, and automated CI/CD pipelines built specifically for AL development. High‑Level Autonomy and Leadership: Move beyond simple task execution. As the Technical Lead, you will act as the ultimate authority on design decisions, set the benchmark for engineering quality, and directly mentor a talented team of developers and functional consultants. What we’re looking for You are an experienced engineer who brings 5+ years of battle‑tested expertise within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (and legacy Dynamics NAV) ecosystems. You hold an active Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer Associate (MB-820) certification and are deeply comfortable navigating the nuances of complex business logic.
