A leading food ingredient manufacturer is seeking a Key Accounts Manager to join their team. The duties will include, but are not limited to, achieving budget requirements, developing call schedules, planning sales calls to ensure a value-added approach, planning to build market share across all categories, demonstrating products to clients, building client relationships and ensuring service effectiveness, conducting regular customer performance reviews, developing and implementing promotional activity, building on and researching product and industry knowledge, submitting reports by the required deadlines, proactively looking for new business and marketing opportunities, managing sales administration and other duties required, providing market intelligence feedback, developing agreements as and when required, and managing interns and other staff allocated to the role and customer base.Key Requirements: A relevant degree in Food Technology or equivalent; 5 or more years experience in sales or food science, preferably in FMCG; experience in handling key accounts, and a valid drivers license.Additional Requirements : The ideal candidate should be disciplined; have business acumen; be resilient, persuasive, and have a positive outlook; have communication and time management skills; be able to build customer relationships; and have a proactive approach.*Only candidates that meet all the requirements should apply.**Only candidates that are shortlisted will be contacted.***By sending us your CV you consent that your information may be kept in accordance with the requirements of the POPI Act.
