The Operations Manager will play a critical role in overseeing daily plant operations, maximising production output, improving workforce productivity, and ensuring operational excellence across all manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage day‑to‑day manufacturing operations to ensure optimal production output. Drive efficiency improvements across plant operations, workforce productivity, and equipment utilisation. Oversee production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet business demands. Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, environmental, and regulatory standards. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and reduce costs. Manage, coach, and develop operational teams to drive a high‑performance culture. Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to ensure targets are consistently achieved. Collaborate with supply chain, quality, and commercial teams to align production with customer requirements. Optimise processes, workflows, and systems to maximise output and minimise downtime. Support capital investment projects, plant upgrades, and process improvements. Job Experience and Skills Required 7–12 years of experience in manufacturing operations (essential). Proven experience in chemical manufacturing or a related process‑driven industry (highly preferred). Strong track record of managing plant operations and improving production output. Demonstrated ability to lead and optimise workforce performance in a manufacturing environment. Solid understanding of safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements within chemical production. Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence methodologies. Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and analytical skills. Effective leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage teams at all levels. Ability to work in a hands‑on, fast‑paced operational environment.
