The Outbound Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share through proactive, relationship‑based selling. This role focuses on acquiring new customers, maintaining existing accounts, and consistently achieving sales targets. Responsibilities Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact. Sales & Business Development: Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities within the assigned territory. Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. Territory Management: Develop and execute strategies to grow market presence and increase brand visibility within the region. Customer Engagement: Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions through product presentations and consultations. Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress; provide regular feedback to management. Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Product Promotion: Promote products effectively through demonstrations, presentations, and client engagement initiatives. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on product offerings, industry developments, and sales techniques to improve performance. Key Skills & Competencies Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build lasting client relationships and influence decision‑making. Target‑driven with high resilience and ability to handle rejection. Strong organisational and administrative skills. Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, competitive environment. High emotional intelligence and team‑oriented mindset. Qualifications & Experience Grade 12 (Matric); relevant diploma or degree preferred. 3‑5 years’ sales experience (FMCG or similar industry advantageous). Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle. Experience in territory management and relationship‑based selling. Success Indicators Achievement of sales targets and KPIs. Growth in customer base and revenue.Strong client retention and satisfaction levels. Effective pipeline management and reporting.
