About the job Senior Client Project Manager Key purpose: To be responsible for managing the day-to-day running and delivery of projects for Data and Analytics by consistently applying project management knowledge, skills and personal characteristics to deliver projects that meet stakeholder/client requirements. Duties and responsibilities: Initiate project: Design and Apply an Appropriate Project Management Framework for the Project Plan, execute and monitor the Project Manage Project Risks Effectively identify, analyse, weigh and select action plans to counter risks affecting the project success (Risk response plan) Aid team in identifying potential risks as and when the need arises Successfully manage conflicts between members of the team Effectively solve problems that arise during the course of a project Effectively manage in order to minimise any and all risk and exposure to the company on a project Manage Human Resources Build an effective project management team in order to ensure the successful completion of the project with the required quality deliverables in the time allowed Effectively manage the groups dynamics in order to ensure that the team works harmoniously and delivers successfully Regularly review the status reports of team members Manage Communication with Stakeholders, Clients and Team Members Facilitate team and client meetings effectively Hold regular status meetings with project team Keep project team well informed of any and all changes that affect them Manage and execute Project Administration Successfully document all processes through minutes of meetings, progress reports, project plans and appropriate information collection, storage and transferring to ensure all stakeholders are up-to-date Ensure that processes and milestones are well documented Ensure that detailed records are kept safe (copies made, updated regularly and stored in a safe place) Ensure that all paperwork is up to date and accurate Administration and maintenance of contracts Capture and approved timesheets weekly Compile and maintain the project workbook Manage Internal Operations Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes as well as possible solutions Effectively comply with and help to enforce standard policies and procedures Liaise with company PFA (Project financial Admin) to ensure Project sales contract is loaded Monitor and report on Project Financials Define invoice intervals i.e., milestone, monthly Report on Project Financial Health Ensure project outcomes are accepted and resources released Measure and analyse stakeholder perceptions Accurately reconcile the budget and actuals when the project comes to an end Accurately compile termination documents and formally close the project Ensure project is closed on EPM and SAP GT Qualifications and experience: Grade 12 (NQF level 4) Prince 2 and Safe Agile Certification 5-10 years BI experience (advantageous) Knowledge, competencies and skills: Computer Literacy Conflict Management General Supervisory Knowledge Industrial Relations Knowledge Knowledge Of Project Management Tools Project Management Knowledge Stress Management skills Time And Priority Management Understand Dimension Datas Business Ethics and Values #J-18808-Ljbffr
