Minimum requirements: Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa 25 years post-admission experience in General Litigation Strong Magistrates Court and/or High Court litigation experience Ability to work independently and manage own matters Strong drafting and litigation skills Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Valid drivers licence and own vehicle advantageous Afrikaans and English advantageous Key Responsibilities: Managing a full general litigation caseload from inception to finalisation Attending court appearances, consultations, mediations, and pre-trials Drafting pleadings, affidavits, notices, and legal correspondence Liaising with clients, counsel, sheriffs, and correspondents Conducting legal research and providing legal opinions where required File management and ensuring matter progression within deadlines Billing & Performance Requirements: Strong focus on achieving monthly billing targets Ability to manage a profitable caseload and ensure effective fee recovery Target-driven environment with performance measured against billing output Accurate and timeous recording of all billable work Consultant: Lameez Hardien - Dante Personnel Johannesburg
