Our client is looking for an Installation Electrician (3-Phase) to join their team in Cape Town, WC. The ideal candidate will have experience in the solar industry and a hands‑on approach to electrical work. This role involves conducting inspections, issuing Certificates of Compliance (COCs), and ensuring installations meet regulatory standards. Responsibilities Perform hands‑on inspections of solar electrical installations and issue COCs upon compliance. Identify and address electrical issues on‑site, providing immediate fixes where possible. Provide feedback to the Project Manager on site issues and suggest solutions. Coordinate with the Project Manager to schedule return visits for unresolved issues requiring additional work. Ensure all electrical work complies with industry regulations and safety standards. Maintain accurate documentation and records of inspections and work performed. Assist installation teams with troubleshooting and guidance where necessary. Requirements Valid Wireman’s License. Registered as an Electrical Contractor with the Department of Labour. Experience working with solar PV systems and 3‑phase electrical installations. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and reporting skills. Valid driver's license.
