The role requires a hands‑on professional with deep knowledge of property finance and VAT legislation, capable of supporting strategic decision‑making while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly management accounts for multiple property entities (SPVs). Manage budgeting and forecasting processes across the portfolio. Ensure strong financial controls and governance. Property Finance Oversight Monitor rental income, recoveries, and operational costs. Ensure accurate tenant billing and recoveries (utilities, rates, levies). Review lease agreements from a financial and VAT perspective. Support asset managers with financial modelling and performance analysis. VAT Compliance Review VAT returns (VAT201) to ensure accuracy and timely preparation. Ensure full compliance with South African Revenue Service requirements. Manage VAT audits, reviews, and SARS queries. Audit & Compliance Lead annual audit processes and prepare audit packs.
