The business partners closely with mining houses, explorers, and technical teams to ensure the integrity, usability, and strategic value of geological and production data across the mining lifecycle. The Role The Company is seeking an experienced Geological Database Manager to take ownership of client-facing geological and production data environments. This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for ensuring data integrity, reliability, and delivery standards across multiple client datasets. The successful candidate will act as a trusted technical advisor, combining strong geological understanding with structured database management and a clear focus on efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement. While the role requires strong technical capability, it equally demands sound judgement, accountability, and the ability to engage confidently with clients and internal stakeholders. The Responsibilities Own the administration, governance, and ongoing optimisation of client geological and production databases Ensure data quality, validation, and compliance with agreed standards and reporting requirements Provide oversight of geological and production data flows from capture through to reporting and delivery Produce and review regular management reports, statistics, and analytical outputs for clients Act as a key point of contact for clients on data-related matters, providing guidance and solutions Identify data risks, inconsistencies, and inefficiencies, implementing corrective actions where required Contribute insights and recommendations that support improved decision-making and operational outcomes Support and enhance geological data systems and software solutions in use by the business Drive improvements in data workflows, automation, and reporting processes Collaborate with technical, operational, and commercial teams to ensure aligned data delivery The Requirements Extensive experience working with SQL and relational database environments Strong experience working with geological and/or production data within a mining or exploration context Background may be in geological data management, technical services, or site-based geology roles where data integrity, QA/QC, and reporting formed a core part of the role Proficiency in Microsoft Access or comparable geological database platforms Practical exposure to geological data workflows, from data capture and validation through to reporting and delivery Experience contributing to data automation, system optimisation, or process improvement initiatives The Rewards The role offers a competitive remuneration package and the opportunity to operate in a senior, trusted position within a specialist data-focused business.
