This is a unique opportunity for an adventurous couple looking to build a long‑term future in luxury safari hospitality within a highly respected lodge group known for its exceptional standards, attention to detail, and guest‑focused ethos. Due to the lodge’s remote location, approximately 1.5-2 hours from Hoedspruit, this role is best suited to a couple who genuinely enjoy remote bush living and thrive in a busy, hands‑on environment. The operation is intimate yet fast‑paced, with a young and dynamic team where both individuals will be involved across multiple areas of the lodge. Package & Work Cycle Salary: Around R32,000 gross per couple (negotiable for strong candidates) R3,000 food allowance 50% Discovery Medical Aid contribution after probation Provident Fund contribution after probation Live‑in position 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off cycle Start date: ASAP The Ideal Couple Her Role – Assistant Lodge Management / Front of House This is a full‑time Front of House and lodge operations role. Requirements Previous 5‑star lodge experience in Front of House or assistant management Strong administrative and organisational skills Excellent guest hosting ability Creative flair with exceptional attention to detail Hands‑on and proactive approach Responsibilities Guest hosting, check‑ins, and check‑outs Room and camp checks Managing guest logistics, accounts, petty cash, and gratuities Staff oversight alongside lodge management Sundowner set‑ups and guest experiences Town trips and general operational support His Role – Trails Guide / Assistant Lodge Management Requirements Previous luxury lodge guiding experience FGASA Level 1 minimum Lead Trails Guide qualification preferred ARH, First Aid Level 1, PDP, and relevant rifle proficiency certifications Strong hosting skills and hands‑on attitude Responsibilities Conducting two game drives daily Guest hosting and activity management Lodge and property maintenance oversight Staff support and operational assistanceSundowner set‑ups and bush experiences This role is ideal for a committed couple who are passionate about the bush, enjoy working closely with guests, and are looking for a long‑term opportunity within a high‑end safari environment.
