We are looking for a Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join our mining automation team. The role will focus on the development, maintenance, version control, and standardization of PLC software for Level 9 Collision Prevention Systems on mining vehicles, with a primary focus on IFM PLCs programmed in Codesys. The successful candidate will work with systems aligned to ISO 21815 and will be involved in CANbus-based integration on mobile mining equipment. Prior experience with ISO 21815, CANbus, or mining machines will be beneficial, but is not required. Candidates with strong experience in other automation fields who are willing to learn will also be well suited to this role. Qualifications BEng or BTech degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, C&I, or related field 3–5 years’ relevant experience Strong PLC programming skills, preferably in Codesys Good understanding of industrial automation and control systems Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain PLC software for Level 9 CPS on mining vehicles Develop new PLC software and improve existing functionality Standardize PLC code structure and reusable modules Build software that enables Senior Technicians to commission vehicles independently Integrate sensors, devices, and other systems with the PLC Support auxiliary projects linked to dashboards developed by the IT team Preferred Experience Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability Ability to integrate different devices and systems with a PLC Structured approach to software development, testing, and standardization 5% Contribution of basic salary to Provident Fund #J-18808-Ljbffr
