Overview We are looking for a junior/mid level UI/UX Web Designer based in Cape Town, primarily working in‑office with one work‑from‑home day. The role requires a design mindset focused on strategy, flow, behaviour and user delight rather than mere decoration. The designer will join the digital team at Head Office, reporting to the Digital Manager and Senior Designer, and will work across our retail and e‑commerce portfolio, handling real‑traffic solutions for conversion‑driven design projects. Responsibilities Conceptualise and design e‑commerce landing pages, platform UIs and email templates. Build and maintain structured Figma component systems and UI guidelines. Map and improve user flows, analysing website performance to propose data‑driven enhancements. Collaborate minimally while independently driving projects and making confident design decisions. Use Jira for project tracking, communicate progress and resolve design challenges. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in web UI and UX design. At least 2 years of solid web design experience, with e‑commerce focus. Extensive Figma portfolio demonstrating problem‑solving, initiative and clear component structure. Proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, basic HTML and CSS. Preference for agency background showing capacity to manage multiple brands and deadlines.
