Company Overview Flyp is revolutionising the property industry with a mission to create a fairer and more efficient ecosystem for sellers, agents, and buyers. The current property market is plagued by inefficiencies and a lack of transparency, leading to missed opportunities and frustration for all parties involved. Flyp aims to disrupt this status quo by providing technology-enabled solutions that prioritise trust, transparency, and maximum value for sellers. With a strong product-market fit and initial funding secured, Flyp is poised to scale its operations and make a significant impact in the industry. Job Overview This is a design-led role responsible for defining the scope of works and curating the design across Flyp’s property portfolio. Design at Flyp is ROI-driven, focused on identifying the right interventions to unlock value during a sale and maximise return. Unlike a traditional interior design studio, budgets are informed by property value and return on investment. You will apply strong design judgement to allocate budgets effectively, based on property value and investment potential. You will build proposals for each property, translating buyer profile, location, and property type into cohesive, commercially considered design concepts. You will act as the design authority from early concept through to post-conversion support, helping shape Flyp’s evolving design language and aesthetic. What you’ll be doing Interior Design & Property Analysis Analysing properties with a high level of detail and spatial awareness, primarily across the London market. Developing and applying interior design concepts informed by buyer profile, location, property type, and guest experience. Applying available budgets strategically to maximise impact, value, and return on investment without compromising design integrity. Making informed decisions on which design interventions are worth pursuing versus deprioritising to maximise both impact and value. Concept Design, Scoping & Proposals Building detailed scopes and costings using internal pricing tools. Creating concept designs, moodboards, and design narratives at proposal stage. Selecting design directions that align with Flyp’s aesthetic while responding to the individual property. Leading the design portion of sales pitches, confidently talking clients through design intent, scope, and commercial rationale in a warm, engaging, and confident manner. Design Delivery & Collaboration Acting as the design expert and go-to point of contact for all design-related queries once a project has converted. Working closely with the Project Manager to support delivery through clear design guidance, clarifications, and interventions as required. Producing structured, well-considered design handovers that enable smooth execution by delivery teams and contractors. Creating scaled furniture layouts and leading furniture selection, specification, and implementation. Collaborating closely with Design, Operations, and wider stakeholders to ensure design intent is maintained throughout delivery. Technical & Creative Capability Proficiency in CAD and Canva for layouts, presentations, and design documentation. Comfortable working with project and workflow tools (Houzz Pro, Monday.com). Strong technical understanding of layouts, specifications, and design handovers. Internal Progression & Opportunity Contribute insights and recommendations on design tools, platforms, and systems that support scalability and innovation. Bring creative flair to the creation of scalable design assets, including moodboards, schemes, and schedules. Contribute creatively to the evolution of Flyp’s overall design direction and aesthetic.
