This role is ideal for a hands-on R&D Project Engineer passionate about robotics, smart manufacturing, and optimizing automated production systems. Job Description: · Design and develop automated production systems and workflows for improved efficiency and scalability · Integrate robotics and factory automation solutions for repetitive manufacturing processes · Optimize production machinery, including CNC equipment and assembly systems · Drive process engineering initiatives, including DfMA and production flow improvements · Develop tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support automated manufacturing · Lead pilot testing, commissioning, and implementation of new technologies · Create SOPs and technical documentation for factory deployment · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation with digital systems Skills & Experience: · Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in manufacturing, factory automation, or process engineering · Strong understanding of automation systems, robotics, and PLC programming · Experience with CAD/CAM tools (e.g. SolidWorks, Fusion 360) · Knowledge of production optimization, machinery integration, and workflow design · Hands-on approach with the ability to troubleshoot and improve factory systems · Programming exposure (Python, C++, or similar) is advantageous Qualification: · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering Contact SARAH KIRKMAN on , quoting the Ref: CTE .
