An Institutional Business Development Analyst vacancy has arisen at M&G Investments. The successful candidate will form part of a team of highly skilled investment professionals in developing and maintaining exceptional client communications through PowerPoint presentations. The role requires working closely with the Investment and Client Service teams and plays an integral part in both the acquisition and retention of client mandates. The ability to assist in creating a narrative through the use of market and fund performance data is key. Key Responsibilities Preparation and development of the presentation framework and content as well as the maintenance of relevant spreadsheets and graphs. Liaise with Client Services teams to ensure all presentation pack requirements are covered. Working closely with portfolio managers and senior management in preparing client presentations for all mandate types. Presentation types include: due diligence, report back, new client tender, investor forums, trustee training, webinars, etc. Interact with Front Office (Investment Team) members. Manage and execute all portfolio managers and senior management’s presentation requests, including but not limited to fund performance and information, market movements, specific mandate changes, market valuation charts and marketing events where they may present. Liaise and maintain internal relationships with various departments to source all relevant information. Maintain data sources used for presentations where applicable. Qualifications, Skills & Experience An appropriate tertiary education (preferably in Commerce), with a good understanding of economics, investment markets and investment products At least 5 years’ work experience in asset management / financial services industry MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel Advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, formulas); ability to automate processes advantageous. Solid experience in Bloomberg and IRESS Numerical skills Experience in the production of presentation packs Attention to detail / high levels of accuracy Strong planning and coordinating skills and good time management Ability to multi-task and maintain high levels of productivity Ability to work to deadlines and occasionally outside regular work hours Client-centric disposition and impeccable service standards Tolerance for stress - able to work under stressful situations Self-motivated with high levels of initiative A team player and able to build strong working relationships with colleagues/stakeholders #J-18808-Ljbffr
