Job Description: This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned finance executive to take ownership of the entire FP&A function across a complex, matrixed organization spanning South Africa, the USA, and Canada. Reporting directly to a member of the Holding Office or the Global CFO, you will be instrumental in translating strategic vision into actionable financial plans. You will lead a high-performing team, drive crucial reporting cycles (including intensive month/quarter-end processes aligned with US hours), and serve as a key strategic partner to executive leadership worldwide. This role demands a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, publicly listed environment and is eager to optimize financial performance on a global scale. Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team of 8-10 professionals, fostering a culture of accuracy and strategic insight. Oversee the end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes for global operations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Serve as the primary financial steward for complex reporting cycles, requiring dedicated time alignment with North American business hours during month and quarter closes. Provide critical, data-driven decision support to senior leadership through insightful scenario modeling and performance deep dives. Manage regular international travel to key operational hubs, primarily the USA, to collaborate directly with stakeholders. Requirements: Proven experience in a senior FP&A leadership role within a large, listed (ideally) multinational organization. Demonstrated ability to navigate and lead within a complex, matrixed organizational structure. Willingness and flexibility to adhere to South African working hours, with mandatory extended support during US month/quarter-end periods. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; relevant professional qualification (CA/CFA) highly preferred.
