Sandton, South Africa | Posted on 04/14/2026 Two Roads Group seeks an experienced and strategically minded Senior Bid Manager to take ownership of the group's end-to-end tendering function. Reporting to senior leadership, the successful candidate will be responsible for the full bid lifecycle — from opportunity identification and qualification through to final submission and post-submission debrief.The role requires close collaboration with technical, commercial, legal and operations teams across the group's member companies, and will be central to Two Roads' continued growth in both public and private sector markets.Key responsibilitiesDirect and manage the full tender process from receipt of RFQ/RFP through to timely, compliant submission Coordinate and consolidate input from technical, legal, financial and operational stakeholders across member companies Lead bid qualification reviews and bid/no-bid decision-making Develop, maintain and continuously improve a centralised bid library, capability statements and standard response templates Ensure all submissions are commercially sound, strategically differentiated and fully compliant with client requirements Monitor and report on bid pipeline, win rates and submission performance to senior management Oversee post-award handovers and facilitate structured lessons-learned reviews Engage and manage external bid consultants or specialist writers as required Requirements A minimum of 8-10 years' bid management experience within infrastructure, engineering or professional servicesDemonstrated success in leading and delivering large, complex, multi-disciplinary tender submissionsExceptional written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical content into persuasive, client-facing proposalsStrong project management competencies, including the ability to manage concurrent bids against firm deadlinesFamiliarity with public sector and parastatal procurement frameworks, including CIDB, PFMA and PPPFA, will be advantageousProficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with document management or proposal software preferredA relevant degree in business, commerce, engineering or communications #J-18808-Ljbffr
