We are seeking a SAICA Graduate Accountant who has completed their SAICA training contract at a small registered accounting and auditing firm. This role is ideal for a candidate who is looking to grow in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment with exposure to a wide range of accounting, tax, advisory, and assurance services. Candidates from large audit-focused firms will not be suitable, as this role requires practical experience across multiple client service areas typically found in smaller practices. Key Responsibilities Preparation of financial statements and management accounts Preparation and submission of tax returns (individuals and companies) VAT, PAYE and other statutory compliance Assisting with audits and assurance engagements Handling SARS queries and eFiling submissions Payroll processing and related compliance Compilations and independent reviews Liaising with clients on day‑to‑day financial matters Working under the supervision of senior accountants and auditors Managing multiple client assignments simultaneously Staying up to date with accounting standards, tax laws and regulations Key Requirements Completed SAICA training contract at a small SAICA‑registered firm (essential) SAICA accredited undergraduate degree completed or near completion Strong academic record (non‑negotiable) Advanced CaseWare experience Strong exposure to: Accounting and financial reporting Tax compliance (SARS eFiling, VAT, PAYE) Payroll processing Compilations and independent reviews Experience in a small practice environment (not large audit firms) Strong computer literacy (CaseWare, MS Office, tax systems) Benefits Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
