Job Purpose To support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of projects by assisting the Project Manager in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, safely, and to required quality standards Qualifications Matric (Grade 12) National Diploma or B Degree in Electrical Engineering (Compulsory) Project Management Qualification (Minimum NQF Level 6) Project Management accreditation (SACPCMP and/or PMP) Experience 3-5 years project engineering or management in industrial project 3+ years of project experience and plant maintenance or installations work in Construction or Electrical/Engineering Industry 2 years’ experience in Design, Electrical & Project Engineering Requirements Knowledge Required Project management knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Office package Project management tools (CAD and MS Projects) Contracts Management (FIDIC, GCC, NEC, JBCC) Competencies Required Communication at multiple levels Resource management Problem solving Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions (other preferences will be given for special language skills where there is a business need) Work effectively in diverse team environment. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required. Good communication skills, verbal and written, required. Ability to meet short- and long-term deadlines. Ability to work regularly and dependably. Ability to function in a team environment.
