Location: Sandton (Head Office) Work Model: Hybrid The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end ICT projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, driving stakeholder engagement, overseeing project budgets and timelines, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives aligned to business objectives.Key Responsibilities: Manage and deliver multiple ICT projects from initiation through to implementation and support Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and contingency planning Coordinate project teams, assign responsibilities, and ensure alignment to project deliverables and business priorities Lead project governance processes, status reporting, stakeholder communication, and escalation management Manage project execution to ensure delivery within approved timelines, scope, and budget parameters Monitor project risks, dependencies, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency and successful outcomes Facilitate strategic analysis and provide recommendations on technology initiatives and process improvements Prepare requests for proposals (RFPs) and coordinate vendor and supplier engagements Ensure compliance with organisational ICT standards, governance frameworks, and best practices Manage stakeholder relationships across business units, executive leadership, vendors, and service providers Negotiate and manage SLAs and OLAs with internal and external stakeholders Oversee problem management processes and act as escalation point for critical ICT issues Monitor project financials and ensure budget management within approved expenditure margins Ensure that project overruns and scope changes are appropriately documented, approved, and managed Lead and mentor support staff, including performance management, succession planning, and staff development initiatives Conduct regular reporting sessions, progress reviews, and operational governance meetings Contribute to innovation initiatives and continuous improvement across ICT operations and project delivery methodologies Requirements: ICT Diploma or a related qualification Project Management qualification required ITIL Foundation Certification (ITIL v3) Valid drivers license 35 years experience in a senior supervisory or management capacity Minimum 3 years experience in systems administration Minimum 3 years experience in service desk supervision or customer service management Minimum 1 year of exposure to business analysis Minimum 1 year of exposure to project administration Proven experience managing multiple ICT projects within enterprise environments Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management experience Experience managing budgets, timelines, project risks, and resource planning Highly Advantageous: Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Science, or Information Technology PMP, PRINCE2, PMBOK, or equivalent Project Management certification ITIL Practitioner Certification Experience within large enterprise or multi-site environments Exposure to ICT governance frameworks, such as COBIT and ITIL Experience managing infrastructure, support, or systems implementation projects Technical & Professional Skills: ICT project management methodologies Budgeting and financial management Risk management and mitigation planning Stakeholder and vendor management Service delivery and SLA management Project scheduling and resource allocation ICT operational management Problem management and escalation handling Business analysis and requirements gathering Microsoft technology stack exposure Reporting, governance, and documentation Strong understanding of IT service management principles Key Competencies: Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and sense of ownership Strong decision-making and prioritisation capabilities Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Financial and commercial awareness Strong organisational and planning skills Ability to perform effectively under pressure Strategic and operational thinking capability Whats on Offer: Hybrid working model Exposure to enterprise-scale ICT projects Opportunity to work within a dynamic and evolving technology environment Leadership and strategic project ownership Career growth within a well-established organisation Collaborative and professional working environment For more exciting IT vacancies, visit:
