Our client is looking for a Team Leader to take full ownership of the Proteins division within their Logistics Department, based in Koelenhof, Stellenbosch. About the role Reporting to the Logistics Manager – Execution and Process Optimisation, you'll oversee the daily, weekly, and monthly operational and administrative functions of the team. This is a hands‑on leadership position covering everything from vessel planning and inventory management to invoicing, compliance reporting, and client communication. Key responsibilities Manage daily financial and administrative processes, including invoicing, cost reconciliation, and cash forecasting Plan and coordinate vessel shipments for imports and exports, liaising with silos, terminals, and transport providers Oversee inventory balances and reconciliations across local and inland facilities Submit statutory returns (including SAGIS) and maintain accurate operational reports Lead, mentor, and support a team of logistics controllers and an administrative clerk What you'll need Matric plus a diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics operations Previous supervisory or team leadership experience Sound knowledge of import/export processes and inventory management Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems Ability to work under pressure and outside standard hours when required What we're looking for You're analytical, organised, and a confident communicator.
