Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Planning, including identifying business opportunities, mapping territories for growth potential, setting targets for each product brand, formulating strategies to achieve targets, and aligning plans and strategies with that of external sales executives. Sales Growth, including conducting sales appointments in conjunction with external sales executives, arranging conducting product presentations, providing technical training to sales staff, promoting cross-selling at every opportunity, arranging and conducting user training. Territory management, including conducting research into new market sectors, assisting sales executives to identify all potential consumption zones with client organisations. Brand development, including ensuring that business opportunities are identified across the range of products, liaising with the marketing manager and fellow product managers for support programs and materials, conducting group and individual presentations to decision making units, providing advice and service, conducting competitive product comparisons, keeping abreast of technological and economical developments, and managing loan equipment. Procurements, liaising with suppliers, negotiating best prices and supply terms, minimising supply lag periods, ensuring adequate holding of stock items, and enhancing the product range. Key Requirements: Science degree, diploma, or equivalent with a minimum 5 years experience in laboratory equipment/consumables sales. Experience within a scientific/laboratory environment would be beneficial. Valid drivers license and own reliable transport required.
