The Marketing Manager role is responsible for transitioning Veritas’ marketing function from tactical execution to structured, revenue‑linked marketing leadership, while maintaining strong hands‑on involvement. Based on current operational requirements, the Marketing Manager will be competent in the following: Convert ad hoc marketing activities into structured campaigns Strengthen alignment between marketing, sales, and tendering Drive consistent brand positioning across proposals, social media, and client engagements Improve pipeline support and measurable lead generation KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Marketing Execution & Campaign Management (Primary Strength Area) Continue driving day‑to‑day marketing activities, including: Internal communications Basic campaign execution Formalise these into structured monthly campaigns with clear objectives Develop a marketing calendar aligned to sales priorities Work closely with Sales to: Understand weekly pipeline priorities Align campaigns to live opportunities and target accounts Support sales with: Client‑facing content Presentation material Deal‑specific marketing collateral Expectation: Marketing must directly support revenue generation Take ownership of: Visual and narrative quality of tender responses Standardising templates (RFP, RFQ, company profiles) Improve consistency of: Branding Messaging Structure across submissions Critical improvement area: Elevate Veritas' bid quality and professionalism Brand & Content Development Create structured content across Case studies (based on real client work) Solution‑focused messaging (AI, SOC, Cloud, MPS) Executive‑level content for LinkedIn and proposals Ensure consistency in how Veritas presents itself externally Focus: Move from generic posts to value‑driven thought leadership Digital Presence & Visibility Manage and improve: LinkedIn presence (primary channel) Website content (where applicable) Increase: Engagement Reach within target markets (enterprise & public sector) Expectation: Build a credible, professional digital footprint Partner Marketing Coordination Support collaboration with OEMs Assist in executing: Joint campaigns Partner‑aligned messaging Development area: Move toward structured partner marketing programmes Marketing Operations & Reporting Introduce the monthly marketing reports Basic KPI tracking: Engagement metrics Marketing contribution to pipeline Build simple dashboards (aligned to CEO/Exco requirements) Critical shift: From no visibility to measurable performance TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED Digital marketing and social media management Strong responsiveness and execution Good internal coordination Willingness to engage across business unitsStrategic thinking and planning Proactive (not waiting for instruction) Structured and organised Commercially aware Detail‑oriented (especially for tenders) Confident engaging with sales and leadership QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in: Marketing/ Business Management/ Communications/Public Relations/ Digital Marketing or related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, brand management, or communications. Experience managing digital marketing campaigns and marketing teams. Experience with marketing analytics, CRM systems, and campaign management tools.
