Key Responsibilities Fleet tracking and monitoring of truck movements Daily reporting on:Departure and standing times Driver hours and overtime Fleet faults and late deliveries Monitor and improve truck turnaround times and delivery efficiency Communicate priority loads and operational changes to the team Capture and reconcile driver hours from trip sheets Ensure trucks are loaded and offloaded timeously Expedite loading, dispatch, and turnaround processes Support offsite collections and coordinate with relevant teams Manage goods issue notes and delivery documentation Oversee driver and conductor PPE compliance Support Functions Daily invoicing of trucks Processing of GRVs (packaging and product) Receipting of finished goods POD reconciliations Delivery efficiency reporting Requirements Diploma or Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain 13 years experience in distribution, transport, or warehousing Experience in a medium to large FMCG environment (advantageous) SAP or similar ERP system experience (advantageous) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reporting, data analysis) Key Competencies Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy Ability to analyse data and provide meaningful insights and recommendations Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English essential) Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong organisational and multitasking ability Comfortable making decisions and engaging with various stakeholders Ideal Profile Highly energetic and fast-paced individual Equally comfortable working on the floor (yard) and on systems Hands-on with trucks, drivers, and operational processes Enjoys working with data and using it to drive decisions Proactive and solutions-driven mindset Willing to work extended hours when required Additional Requirements Own reliable transport Based in or near Durban / Upper Highway Some Afrikaans advantageous but not essential
