Working knowledge of the Health Safety requirements Computer literate DutiesTo oversee and manage Welding activities during fabrication Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in welding Analyzes work drawings and weld documentation to determine need for supplies, resources and sequence of operations required Manage and maintain welder qualification records Requisitions supplies, such as welding inspector to maintain specified standards and quality Trains workers in operation of equipment Set up machines or make trial welds to make test runs and experimental products Supervise fitting and assembly components Ensure proper / regular maintenance is done on welding equipment Performs other general supervisory duties
