Role Overview We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our expansion into the UK market. This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, commercially minded, and passionate about outbound sales and business development. As an SDR, you will play a critical role in generating qualified opportunities for the sales team by identifying, engaging, and nurturing prospective clients across the UK market. You will be responsible for outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, and booking high-quality meetings with decision-makers. Key Responsibilities Proactively identify and prospect potential clients within the UK market through outbound channels including cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and networking. Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities. Engage with business owners, senior decision-makers, and key stakeholders to understand their needs and identify potential fit. Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations for the Account Executive or Sales team. Consistently meet and exceed activity targets and pipeline generation KPIs. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities within the UK market. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activity within the CRM system. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to improve outreach strategies and conversion rates. Effectively communicate the company’s value proposition and handle objections professionally. Provide market feedback and customer insights to support product and commercial strategy. Requirements 1–3 years’ experience in Sales Development, Business Development, Lead Generation, or a similar outbound sales role. Experience selling into the UK market is highly advantageous. Previous experience within SaaS, fintech, payments, ecommerce, or technology environments is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable with high-volume outbound activity and cold outreach. Proven ability to build rapport and engage with senior stakeholders. Highly target-driven, resilient, and self-motivated.
