Ultimately, we empower people to be financially confident, secure and prosperous. What will you do? This role reports centrally to the Head of Enterprise and Practice Development. It works closely with management to promote and develop Enterprise businesses, primarily the traditional BlueStar businesses (80%) and, to a lesser extent, the Managed Outsourced (MO) and Sanlam Core Solutions (SCS) businesses (20%). The responsibilities include active identification, planning, and engagement surrounding the acquisition, establishment and vesting of new entities, as well as implementing the operational requirements for setting up and supporting new BlueStar businesses. What will make you successful in this role? Marketing the BlueStar business concept/model/process Planning the regional expansion of BlueStar businesses Sourcing, recruiting and appointing financial advisers into BlueStar businesses Facilitating discussions with SFA management to assist BlueStar principals with training and vesting of new advisers Operating as a business consultant/coach and change agent to BlueStar businesses Qualifications and Experience Commercial, financial, legal or business‑related degree (preferable) BCom Business Management or Marketing, preferably Honours/Post‑Grad in a business‑related program (120 credits) Extensive consulting experience in a business/marketing environment Experience in practice development of financial planning practices Knowledge and Skills MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Web‑based platform tools/sites Adviser tools (e.g., Sanfin, Leads program, Santrust, Santax, Sanport) AUTONUB Capital Software SAP E2 financials Business and Management Knowledge Financial Services Industry knowledge Business acumen (creating and leading a business) Specialized knowledge within different channels (tied, choice, or entities) Understanding of different enterprise distribution models and value propositions (Traditional BlueStar and Managed Outsourced) Financial Services product knowledge (Sanlam and competitors) Tax technical knowledge (PTY related) Knowledge of new and existing business processes Awareness of adviser contracts and remuneration Sales and related administration processes Leads management system and campaigns/competitions Leadership and management skills Financial management (including profitability and VNB) Debt management Relevant regulatory legislation and compliance knowledge (FAIS accredited) Business coaching and mentoring Core Competencies Cultivates innovation Customer focus Drives results Collaborates Flexible and adaptable Personal Attributes Sound business acumen Sales and goal oriented People developer (coaching) Networking and relationship builder Structured and good planning abilities Ability to motivate and build a team Strong administrative and operational skills and knowledge Socially confident and skilled to communicate well with staff and clients alike Ability to solve problems and work with complexity Application Deadline The closing date for applications is 5th of June 2026.
