Requirements & Qualifications Experience: 3–5 years proven external sales experience, preferably in hardware, industrial, or FMCG environments. Education: Minimum Matric (National Senior Certificate); sales or business-related qualification advantageous. Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license (own reliable transport preferred/required). Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Highly self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). Key Responsibilities Business Development: Actively prospect, cold call and secure new customers to grow market share. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular visits and service excellence. Sales Presentations: Conduct face-to-face meetings and product demonstrations, highlighting features and value. Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts to secure profitable deals and meet sales targets. Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to support sales strategy. Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, visits and pipeline activity and submit regular sales reports.
