I am seeking a detail-driven and analytical Senior Accountant to join a well-established and growing organisation based in Johannesburg. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working across the full finance function, partnering with different teams, and playing a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency. Duties include: Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare monthly management accounts (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful insights to management Month-End & Year-End Lead month-end and year-end close processes Support audits and assist with the annual budgeting process General Ledger & Controls Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Identify and resolve discrepancies Strengthen and maintain internal financial controls Stock & Inventory Oversee stock receipts and reconciliations Ensure accurate inventory valuation (FIFO/LIFO) Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams Payments & Suppliers Manage payment batches and schedules Perform supplier reconciliations and resolve queries Collaboration Partner with operations, procurement, and finance teams Contribute to process improvements and financial efficiency initiatives Minimum Requirements: BCom Accounting (Honours) / CIMA / CA(SA) CA(SA): 1–3 years post articles CIMA: 2–3 years’ experience BCom Honours: 3–5 years’ experience Key Skills: Strong financial reporting and reconciliation experience Exposure to stock / inventory accounting (essential) Advanced Excel skills Experience on Pastel / Sage or similar ERP systems #J-18808-Ljbffr
