Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Workshop Technician / Millwright to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the workshop, maintaining equipment, and supporting daily technical operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain, repair, and service machinery and equipment Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently Ensure workshop operations run smoothly and safely Manage workshop housekeeping, tools, and equipment Monitor maintenance schedules and report on repairs Maintain accurate records and job cards Order workshop parts, tools, and consumables when required Prepare and manage quotations for repairs and maintenance work Liaise with suppliers regarding parts and pricing Assist with breakdowns and emergency repairs when required Work independently and as part of a team Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures Minimum Requirements Previous workshop and maintenance experience Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Computer literate with the ability to use workshop systems, email, quotations, and basic reporting tools Ability to run and manage a workshop effectively Experience in ordering parts and preparing quotations Good communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, respectful, and professional at all times Strong work ethic and attention to detail Valid driver’s license will be advantageous Personal Attributes Has a positive and professional personality Is trustworthy and dependable ...
