Job Description: You will be responsible for managing and overseeing core accounting functions while supporting strategic financial decision-making across the businessKey responsibilities include:Full-function financial accounting (creditors, banking, fixed assets, payroll)Monthly management accounts and variance analysisBudget preparation and ongoing budget controlBalance sheet, income statement, and payroll reconciliationsYear-end audit preparation and liaison with auditorsReviewing and authorising payments in line with internal controlsDrafting and maintaining financial policies and SOPsManaging and developing finance staffSupporting ad hoc finance-related projectsSkills & Experience: Minimum 35 years relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory roleStrong experience across full accounting functionsSolid exposure to year-end auditsConfident managing people and workflowsAdvanced Excel skillsExperience with Sage (X3 advantageous) and CaseWareStrong attention to detail, deadline-driven, and highly professionalQualification: Recognised accounting qualification - completedProfessional body affiliation (SAICA / CIMA / ACCA) advantageousFor more information connect with us on
